On the afternoon of March 13, a joint meeting to advance work at the New Energy Engineering College of Sino-Zambia Vocational and Technical College was held in Conference Room 324 on the third floor of the Administrative Building. Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Jia, and Party Committee Member and Vice President Zhou Qin attended the meeting. Representatives from relevant college departments and the New Energy and Materials College also participated. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Jingjing.

At the meeting, Deng Panpan, Dean of the New Energy Engineering College at Sino-Zambia Vocational and Technical College, first reported on the operational status of the branch college for 2025, comprehensively summarizing the achievements made over the past year in areas such as talent cultivation, teaching operations, and international cooperation. Subsequently, Deng Panpan elaborated on the branch college's work plan for 2026, focusing on introducing the annual goals, key tasks, and implementation measures.
During the discussion session, the participating departments from the joint meeting, based on their respective functions and in light of the 2026 work plan, put forward suggestions and recommendations on key matters such as resource guarantees, teaching arrangements, faculty staffing, and funding support, offering insights for the branch college's future development.
In her concluding remarks, Zhou Qin affirmed the work of the New Energy Branch College over the past year and put forward specific requirements for its work in 2026. She emphasized that the branch college should focus on enhancing its substantive development and consistently improve the quality of education; strengthen inter-departmental collaboration to form a cohesive work effort; and prioritize tangible results to ensure the implementation of all plans, striving to establish the New Energy Branch College as a benchmark for overseas education initiatives.
In his address, Zhang Jia pointed out that the New Energy Engineering College of Sino-Zambia Vocational and Technical College is a crucial platform for our college to serve the national Belt and Road Initiative. It is also a key vehicle for promoting the "global outreach of vocational education," deepening industry-education integration, and achieving high-quality opening up. He stressed that all departments should further elevate their perspective, take proactive action, closely align with our college's overall development goals for "vocational education going global," highlight distinctive features, build strong brands, and continuously enhance the ability to serve international industrial capacity cooperation. This will contribute to promoting Sino-Zambian vocational education cooperation and the high-quality development of our college's endeavors.
This meeting further clarified the work direction and priorities for the New Energy Engineering College of Sino-Zambia Vocational and Technical College in 2026, laying a solid foundation for the efficient implementation of work in the next phase.
