Recently, Ms. Quan Huiying, a teacher dispatched by Leshan Vocational and Technical College, together with Ms. Wang Nan, Assistant to the President of China-Zambia Vocational and Technical College, led a delegation to conduct educational exchange activities at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Zambia. The delegation paid a courtesy call on Hon. Felix, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Zambia, and held in-depth discussions on vocational training cooperation, injecting new vitality into China-Zambia vocational education cooperation.

During the meeting, Ms. Wang Nan briefed Minister Felix on the experience of China-Zambia Vocational and Technical College in designing majors in line with local industrial needs and promoting the integration of industry and education. Drawing on her overseas teaching experience, Ms. Quan Huiying shared the practices of Leshan Vocational and Technical College in practical teaching and the construction of a skills training system. Minister Felix spoke highly of the achievements of China's vocational education development and affirmed the college's positive contributions to Zambia's vocational education.
Focusing on key topics including the demand for skilled talents in Zambia's local industrial development, joint development of vocational training curriculum systems, and teacher exchange and training, the two sides exchanged views, laying a solid foundation for further in-depth cooperation in the field of China-Zambia vocational education. After the forum, accompanied by Ms. Georgina Chama, President of the college, the delegation visited the college's training base to learn about its practical teaching facilities, teaching models and school-enterprise cooperation on site.
This exchange activity has not only built a bridge of communication between Chinese and Zambian vocational colleges, but also promoted the transnational sharing of vocational education resources, making active explorations to support the training of skilled talents in countries along the routes and boost the development of China-Zambia educational cooperation.
